MOAB

Eleven tons of TNT.  The most powerful non-nuclear ordinance in the United States’ arsenal.  A weapon documented to be feared by Presidential cabinets.  Fifteen have built, but only one has ever been used on an enemy during a conflict.  I am speaking of the Massive Ordinance Air Blast, or as it has renamed in common vernacular Mother of All Bombs.  It takes some serious bravado to name a supplement after a weapon of that magnitude but Redcon1 did just that with MOAB, the Mother of All Builders.

Coming in a thirty-scoop container, available in two flavors and an unflavored option, MOAB stakes its claim as being a muscle builder you can drink thirty minutes before you train and see results.  The formula is not a stimulant and can be stacked with pre-workouts.  While a pre-workout is designed to give you the energy and fight fatigue, MOAB is designed to enrich the muscle building process with compounds specific to muscle engagement.

First to drop is calcium.  Remember the stuff your parents and teachers told you would help you grow big and strong?  Calcium is a necessary mineral in not only building muscle but the overall strength of the human body.  Everyone in public school remembers being told that calcium strengthens your bones.  What our teachers failed to tell us is that calcium is stored in the bones and then used by the muscles as the agent to tell the muscle to contract.  An extra helping means there will be enough in the body to make every rep count.

The next ingredient is import to the body whether it is falling from the sky or taken in a multivitamin, Vitamin D!  Specifically, MOAB contains vitamin D3.  Vitamin D has been known for a long time to be good for the human body.  In this case Vitamin D is included to support calcium’s function along with strength performance.  Studies are validating that an athlete with adequate Vitamin D intake will outperform one with a deficiency. At one hundred and twenty-five percent your daily value it is safe to say you will get the boost you need.  Since somewhere around forty percent of Americans have a Vitamin D deficiency why not take an easy advantage on nearly half the population?

Now we start to fall into the lesser known but still impactful part of the scoop.  Calcium B Hydroxy B-Methylbutyrate Monohydrate also known as HMB.  So far, we have a scoop that helps to enhance muscle function but HMB does something much more interesting.  Instead of acting as an anabolic agent, HMB is anti-catabolic.  It is not there for muscle growth, instead it is there to prevent muscle breakdown!  When you are building a brick wall it would not be wise to stack bricks, let some fall, and then go back to stacking.  This is the mortar to hold the growth you worked so hard for.

Another Walter White length compound, Alpha-Hydroxy-Isacaproic Acid, or HICA comes in next.  HICA has a very specific benefit to the weightlifting community.  There are no studies completed at this point that have shown an increase in strength with HICA alone.  Instead what has been proven is an increase in the amount of lean muscle mass.  In other words, it will work aid in physique but alone would not be enough to increase overall strength.

Before reaching the bottom our second to last stop is the Green Tea extract Epicatechin.  Epicatechin inhibits the production of myostatin along with increasing blood flow and endurance in athletes.  Myostatin is the chemical that signals the muscles to stop growing and I think it is obvious that a powerful muscle builder needs to overcome this.  Increasing blood flow fills out the muscles as well giving a fuller feel and look.  The final boost to endurance is what can keep you pushing the limits in the weight room.

Rounding out the scoop while pulling everything together is Astragin.  While astragin is sometimes a solo product used to help with digestion, it is also known as an aid in absorption!  Consider this, with all the ingredients we discussed so far in MOAB, what good would they do if your body was not able to actually use them?  Besides helping your body to use the nutrients astragin is also showing promise in helping to increase the body’s ability to produce HGH naturally.  For those of you who immediately associate HGH with Anabolic Steroid use please remember that HGH is naturally occurring and even injections of HGH have benefited many children with genetic issues when medically administered.

MOAB is single scoop per-day supplement with no need to cycle.  It is non-hormonal and safe for men and women.  An effective combination of natural ingredients is what makes this builder truly special.  It is stackable with both stimulant and non-stimulant pre-workouts to give your body that extra edge.  While not all compounds in MOAB are directly related to increases in strength there is no doubt that it will put on the lean muscle mass.  MOAB lives up to its name with an explosive formula that does not disappoint!
